Totally a slow month for me when it comes to reading! Things are starting to pick up at work and I’ve been super busy, and a couple of the books I finished this month were super long! I did really enjoy all of the books I read this month, and that’s definitely what matters most.

SEPTEMBER TBR:
Release Date: September 3, 2019 | Book 1 in the Serpent & Dove Series
Amazing cover, first of all. Plus, you’ve gotta be interested in a story about witches, forbidden magic, and of course a MC trying to work her way around a marriage she’s been forced into. Early reviews are looking positive, and I’m excited to learn more about this new fantasy world!
Release Date: September 3, 2019 | Standalone (Sky in the Deep universe)
Sky in the Deep was an amazing book, and I’ve been dying for the next release from Adrienne Young since the day I finished reading it. Thankfully that next book is here, and while it isn’t a continuation of the same story, it is set in the same universe, which is a pleasant surprise! Apparently this book takes place 10 years after the events of Sky, and I can’t wait to dive into this universe again.
Release Date: September 10, 2019 | Standalone?
MC finds a mysterious book, and adventures ensue. I’m sold. But really, she finds a “book that carries the scent of other worlds, and tells a tale of secret doors, of love, adventure and danger. Each page turn reveals impossible truths about the world”, and just that much from the excerpt has me invested already.
What did you read this month? What new books are you looking forward to in September? Tell me in the comments!
Wonderful post! ^_^ I’m really looking forward to The Ten Thousand Doors Of January too!
